The Most Christmassy Tea Towels – Somerset House

£9.50

These tea towels are fantastic. They are really atmospheric showing some of London’s iconic buildings and scenes in real Christmas mode! Somerset House was built by the Duke of Somerset in 1547 hence the name. Unfortunately, he didn’t manage to finish it because it was ‘off with his head’ at the Tower of London in 1553. The Crown took over the house and Queen Elizabeth 1 moved in. However, the Duke would be thrilled to see this illustration of his house festooned in happiness.
